Conference Center

NRBP Seminar and Conference Center is located on the 26th floor of The National Newark Building at 744 Broad Street in Newark. This historic art-deco building has been fully restored to its original luster. The location is convenient to all major highways as well as to Newark Liberty International Airport and Newark Penn Station. Located directly across the street from the international headquarters of Prudential Insurance Company, the Center is near many public-parking facilities.

NRBP Seminar and Conference Center has three individual, sound-guarded rooms that open to accommodate up to 80 people. 

The Seminar & Conference Center is available to building tenants, NRBP members, and other meetings of up to 80 people. Discounts for use of the NRBP Seminar and Conference Center are a benefit of membership. 

NRBP takes pride in its Seminar and Conference space, and looks forward to serving your meeting needs in a professional manner. We encourage you to visit the location prior to reserving a room, so that you can visualize the layout and meet with NRBP staff. The following information, including the fee schedule is provided to answer as many of your questions as possible. Please contact Nikki Drake at (973) 242-4203 regarding facilities and services.

STANDARD TIMES: A half day is defined as either 8 am – 1 pm or 12 pm – 5 pm. Normal hours are 8 am – 5 pm. If set-up or use is required prior to 7:30 am or continues beyond 5:30 pm, additional 2 hour minimum will be charged.

DISCOUNTS: All tenants of the National Newark Building are entitled to one (1) complimentary use of a seminar room for up to 20 people for ½ day. In addition, all tenants and NRBP members are entitled to two (2) uses during a calendar year at 50% discount for room rental. All additional rentals will be at a 20% discount thereafter for members and National Newark Building tenants.

RESTROOMS: Men’s, Women’s and ADA rest rooms are located on the 26th floor near the elevators.

SMOKING: The National Newark Building, NRBP and the NRBP Seminar and Conference Center are all non-smoking facilities. Thank you for your cooperation.

TELEPHONES: For your convenience, there are several phones available for free local calls or long distance credit card calling. 

ADA COMPLIANCE: The NRBP Seminar and Conference Center is completely ADA compliant.

CATERING: The Center has facilities for continental breakfast, lunch and related breaks for meetings. Specific catering services can be coordinated through the NRBP Center Staff.

AV NEEDS: Equipment rental is available at an additional charge and can be coordinated for your needs, or arrangements can also be made for a company to use its own equipment. For audio/visual or other related items (podium, dias, microphone, special equipment) NRBP will arrange for rentals as specified by the client. Fee will be quoted and submitted to the client for approval before any arrangements are made.
