Enhance your involvement in NRBP by joining one of three councils established to help NRBP fulfill its mission to Build Business for a Greater Newark. This is a great way to broaden your experience and help NRBP grow and prosper. Councils meet in person several times per year with additional communication by conference call and e-mail.

AMBASSADORS COUNCIL

Co-Chair: Sherri Winters, Sir Speedy Printing Center

 •   Greet members at events.
 •   Introduce recent members and promote involvement.
 •   Encourage member participation.

BUSINESS ADVOCACY COUNCIL

Co-Chairs: Arthur Guida, Public Service Electric & Gas Co.
                Ciro Scalera, Verizon New Jersey, Inc.

 •   Identify local, state or national issues where advocacy is required for the benefit of
      NRBP members as well as for the revitalization of Newark.
 •   Assist in the preparation and dissemination of policy positions.
 •   Identify issues that relate to business competitiveness and economic development.

TRANSPORTATION COUNCIL

Co-Chairs: William Rutherford, HNTB Corporation
              
 •   Assist in the selection of award winners and topics/ speakers for the symposium.
 •   Propose NRBP involvement in transportation policy matters.
