PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS
NRBP lives up to its name by partnering with other organizations that are
similarly committed to economic growth in the Newark region and the revitalization of the City of Newark.
While our organization works with dozens of entities to promote activities and events of interest to our
members, NRBP has a direct relationship with the following organizations which are co-located in its offices
in The National Newark Building:
Renaissance Newark Foundation
RNF is NRBP’s 501(c)(3) charitable affiliate that supports the organization’s economic development efforts
through educational programs and activities that promote Newark’s revitalization. Activities such as the
high school career awareness program, www.gonewark.com and the Northeast
Corridor Action Plan are made possible by support of events such as the Annual Reception and Dinner at The
Newark Museum and Golf Outing at Roxiticus.
Greater Newark Business Development Consortium
GNBDC is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) non-bank lender that is helping small businesses throughout the State of
New Jersey reach the next level in their growth and development. The organization provides financial assistance
to urban entrepreneurs and small businesses that have the capabilities to operate a successful business yet
may be unable to obtain funding through the conventional borrowing process.
Nation’s
Port
Nation’sPort is a bi-state, non-partisan coalition that works to promote the secure, efficient and
environmentally sound movement of goods through a world-class intermodal transportation system integrating
rail, road and the port. As a founding member and host, NRBP collaborates with Nation’sPort to ensure that
the port of New York and New Jersey is provided with the necessary public support to ensure its status as
an economic engine that serves more than 80 million Americans and provides 250,000 direct and indirect jobs
in the two states and nearly 200,000 additional jobs across the nation.
Newark Real Estate Board
NREB is a not-for profit corporation designed to promote ownership and development of commercial, industrial
and residential properties in the City of Newark by advocating pro-development policy, representing the
common interests of the Newark real estate community to governmental entities, the press and community
organizations, and performing market research for use by its members.
